Joseph and Loretta Bir (Paraguay and Peru)
The Birs arrived in Paraguay in December 1988, where he is now the field superintendent. He also serves as the area coordinator for South America’s Southern Cone, which encompasses Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay. She is involved in children’s and ladies’ ministries and teaches in the Bible school. She can usually be found translating material into Spanish late at night. Visit the Birs’ website.
Darry and Kathy Crossley (Regional Director)
The Crossleys serve as regional directors for our missionary work in South America, overseeing the churches in ten nations of that continent. They have tremendous experience in that area, having begun service in Argentina in 1974 where they helped to establish the Bible school program in Buenos Aires. He has served capably in many areas of administration, and she has worked extensively in Sunday School ministries and in ladies’ ministries. Visit the Crossleys’ website.
